2.2 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following information is stored only on your device and is NOT transmitted to our servers:

• App settings (sensitivity level, haptic/audio preferences, color theme)
• Calibration data (baseline magnetic field values X/Y/Z)
• Detection history (up to 100 most recent detections)
• Usage statistics (total detections count, total usage time)

3. Permissions We Request

The app requires the following permissions:

• VIBRATE: Required for haptic feedback when metal is detected
• Magnetometer Sensor: Required to detect metal objects (automatically granted)
• Gyroscope Sensor: Used to filter out device rotation noise for more accurate detection (automatically granted)

We want to be transparent about what we don't collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• Location data (GPS coordinates)
• Camera, microphone, or photo library access
• Contacts or calendar information
